Effective Date: August 21, 2026
Template notice: This document is a general-purpose template prepared for informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice. It is not a substitute for review by a licensed attorney in Tennessee (or wherever you are advised to seek counsel), who can confirm it fits your actual business practices, contracts with installers and carriers, and applicable consumer-protection law. Please review and customize the bracketed/assumed details below — including pricing, lead times, damage-claim windows, and warranty terms — before publishing.
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and SGO Designer Glass of Chattanooga, doing business as Classic Antique Mirror ("Classic Antique Mirror," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of classicantiquemirror.com (the "Site") and your purchase of any products or services from us, including custom-cut antique mirror glass, decorative glass, samples, and related installation services. By accessing the Site, requesting a quote, ordering a sample, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or place an order.
We may update these Terms from time to time; the version in effect at the time you place an order governs that order. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new Effective Date.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and able to form a binding contract to place an order with us. By placing an order, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the shipping and billing information you provide is accurate.
3. Products, Customization, and Specifications
We offer both in-stock/standard glass items and custom-cut, made-to-order antique mirror glass and decorative glass products, cut to the dimensions, thickness, style, and finish (including notches, cutouts, gold veining, etching, and sandblasting) that you specify at the time of order or quote.
-
Accuracy of measurements: For custom orders, you are solely responsible for the accuracy of all measurements, dimensions, and specifications you provide. We fabricate custom glass to the exact specifications submitted and are not responsible for errors resulting from inaccurate measurements or specifications you supplied.
-
Samples: We offer 6" square samples on request so you can review color, texture, and finish before ordering. Because antique-style mirror glass is hand-finished, minor variations in pattern, veining, and patina between a sample and your finished piece are normal and expected, and are not considered defects.
-
Product representations: Colors, finishes, and patterns shown on the Site may vary from the actual product due to the handmade nature of antique-finish glass and differences in device displays. We make reasonable efforts to describe products accurately but do not warrant that images are fully representative.
-
Availability and discontinuation: Products, styles, and pricing are subject to change or discontinuation without notice.
4. Quotes, Pricing, and Payment
Shipping and installation quotes provided through the Site or by our team are estimates based on the information available at the time and are not final until confirmed in writing. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice until you complete checkout; the price charged is the price displayed at the time your order is placed. You are responsible for any applicable sales tax, duties, or import fees, particularly on international orders.
Payment is processed through our third-party payment processor(s) at checkout (such as Shopify Payments and/or PayPal). By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order, including after acceptance, if we suspect fraud, error in pricing or description, or if a specification is not feasible to fabricate.
5. Order Acceptance and Production
Your order is an offer to purchase, which we may accept or decline. For custom-cut orders, production typically begins after we confirm your specifications and payment; once production begins on a custom item, it cannot be modified. We will make reasonable efforts to confirm final specifications with you before cutting begins.
6. Cancellations, Returns, and Refunds
-
Custom/made-to-order items: Because custom-cut glass and mirror products are fabricated specifically for you, orders cannot be cancelled, modified, or returned once production has begun, except as required by law or as set out below for defects or shipping damage.
-
Standard/in-stock items: Unless noted otherwise on the product page, standard (non-custom) items may be returned within [14] days of delivery in original, unused condition, at your cost, for a refund of the product price, less any restocking or return-shipping fee. Contact us before returning any item to receive return instructions.
-
Defects and shipping damage: Glass is fragile and can be damaged in transit despite careful packaging. Please inspect your order upon delivery and report any damage, shortage, or manufacturing defect to us within [48] hours of delivery, with photos of the item and packaging, so we can file a claim with the carrier and arrange a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate. Claims reported after this window may not be eligible for replacement or refund.
-
Refund method: Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within a reasonable time after approval.
7. Shipping and Delivery
We ship nationally and internationally, including to Canada. Shipping costs, carriers, and estimated delivery windows will be provided at checkout or in your quote. Delivery dates are estimates only; we are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs processing, weather, or other events outside our reasonable control.
Because glass is fragile, large or heavy items may require freight shipping, curbside delivery, or special handling; you are responsible for ensuring a safe and accessible delivery location and for having adequate assistance to receive and move heavy or large pieces. Risk of loss and title to products pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier, except that, for damage claims reported within the window in Section 6, we will work with you and the carrier to resolve the claim. International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, and import fees, which are your responsibility and are not included in the item or shipping price.
8. Installation Services
Where you request installation, we may coordinate installation directly or refer you to a member of our nationwide network of independent, third-party installers. Unless we expressly agree in writing to perform the installation ourselves, installers in this network are independent contractors and not our employees or agents, and installation is subject to a separate agreement, pricing, and scheduling arrangement between you and the installer. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, workmanship, scheduling, or pricing of independent third-party installers, though we will make reasonable efforts to assist in resolving issues you raise with us.
9. Product Warranty and Disclaimers
We warrant that, at the time of delivery, custom and standard glass products will be free from material manufacturing defects and will substantially conform to the specifications you provided or the product description on the Site. This warranty does not cover: damage from improper installation, handling, cleaning, or use; normal wear; breakage after successful delivery and acceptance; variations in antique-style finish, veining, or patina inherent to hand-finished glass; or damage caused by events outside our control.
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN THIS SECTION, AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE, OUR OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY PRODUCT OR SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO AN ORDER WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. THIS SECTION DOES NOT LIMIT LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
11. Intellectual Property
The Site and its content — including text, graphics, logos, product photographs, designs, and layout — are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Site's content without our prior written permission, except as necessary to browse the Site and place an order for personal, non-commercial use.
12. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use the Site for any unlawful purpose; submit false, inaccurate, or fraudulent order or payment information; attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems; scrape, harvest, or misuse data from the Site; or infringe our or any third party's intellectual property or other rights.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us, our officers, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or third-party right, including inaccurate measurements or specifications you provide for a custom order.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or your use of the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except to the extent a mandatory consumer-protection law of your state or country provides otherwise.
15. Arbitration Agreement and Class Action Waiver
Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights. Except for claims that qualify for small-claims court, or claims for injunctive relief to protect intellectual property rights, you and we agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or any product or service we provide will be resolved by binding, individual arbitration rather than in court, administered under the rules of a recognized arbitration provider (such as the American Arbitration Association) in effect at the time the arbitration is initiated, with the arbitration seated in or venued near Hamilton County, Tennessee, unless you and we agree otherwise.
YOU AND WE EACH AGREE THAT ANY ARBITRATION OR PROCEEDING WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION, AND YOU AND WE EACH WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION. If any part of this arbitration agreement or class-action waiver is found unenforceable, the remainder will still apply, or, if the class-action waiver specifically cannot be enforced, this entire arbitration section will not apply to the dispute, and the dispute will instead be resolved in the courts identified in Section 16.
16. Venue
To the extent any dispute is not subject to arbitration under Section 15 (or either party opts out or the arbitration provision is found unenforceable as to that dispute), you agree that such dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Hamilton County, Tennessee, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
17. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any order confirmation or written quote we send you, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the subject matter here, and supersede any prior agreements.
