Effective Date: August 21, 2026

Template notice: This document is a general-purpose template prepared for informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice. Laws governing privacy and data collection (including U.S. state laws such as the CCPA/CPRA, and foreign laws such as the GDPR) change frequently and vary by where your customers live. Please have this document reviewed by a licensed attorney before publishing it, and update the bracketed/assumed details below to match your actual practices, vendors, and data flows.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how SGO Designer Glass of Chattanooga, doing business as Classic Antique Mirror ("Classic Antique Mirror," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about visitors to and customers of classicantiquemirror.com (the "Site"), and about anyone who contacts us, requests a quote, orders custom or in-stock glass products from us, or otherwise interacts with our business. By using the Site or placing an order with us, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Site. This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, services, or businesses (including installers, carriers, or payment processors) that we do not own or control, even if we link to them or they are involved in fulfilling your order.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Give Us Directly

When you place an order, request a shipping or installation quote, request a sample, submit the contact form, email or call us, or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect:

  • Contact details — name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address.

  • Order and project details — the mirror style, glass type, thickness, dimensions, cutouts, notches, etching, sandblasting, veining, or other custom specifications you provide, along with any photos, drawings, or measurements you upload or send us.

  • Payment information — such as the last four digits of a card and billing details. Full payment card numbers are collected and processed by our third-party payment processors (see Section 4); we do not store full card numbers on our own servers.

  • Account information, if you create a Shopify customer account with us — such as order history and saved addresses.

  • Any other information you choose to include in messages, reviews, or correspondence with us.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Like most e-commerce websites, when you visit the Site we (and our service providers) automatically collect certain information about your device and browsing activity, including:

  • IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, and language settings.

  • Pages viewed, products viewed, referring/exit pages, links clicked, and the dates and times of your visits.

  • Approximate location derived from your IP address.

  • Information collected through cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies (see Section 3).

2.3 Information From Third Parties

We may receive information about you from our e-commerce platform (Shopify), payment processors, shipping carriers, marketing and analytics providers, and, where applicable, the installers or delivery partners in our nationwide installation network who help fulfill your order.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site runs on Shopify's e-commerce platform, which uses cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) that are necessary for core functions like maintaining your cart, remembering your preferences, and securing checkout. We and our service providers also use cookies and pixels for analytics (to understand how visitors use the Site) and, where enabled, for advertising (such as a Meta/Facebook pixel or Google Ads/Analytics tag) to measure and improve our marketing.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them; doing so may affect how parts of the Site function, such as checkout. Where required by law, we will present a cookie banner or similar mechanism allowing you to accept or reject non-essential cookies before they are set.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process and fulfill orders, including custom-cut glass and mirror orders, provide shipping and installation quotes, and coordinate delivery or installation.

  • Communicate with you about your order, quote requests, samples, or inquiries, including order confirmations, shipping updates, and customer service.

  • Verify custom specifications and dimensions with you before production, since made-to-order glass is cut to the measurements you provide.

  • Process payments and prevent fraudulent transactions.

  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our product catalog.

  • Send you marketing communications, promotions, or updates, where you have opted in or as otherwise permitted by law (you may opt out at any time, as described in Section 8).

  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms & Conditions, and protect our rights, property, and safety and that of our customers.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as follows:

  • Service providers who perform functions on our behalf, including our e-commerce platform (Shopify), payment processors (such as Shopify Payments and/or PayPal), shipping and freight carriers, and email/SMS marketing platforms.

  • Installation and delivery partners in our nationwide installation network, when your order includes installation, so they can schedule and complete the work at your address.

  • Analytics and advertising providers, such as Google and Meta, who help us understand Site usage and measure advertising performance.

  • Professional advisors and authorities, such as accountants, insurers, or attorneys, or law enforcement or regulators, where necessary to comply with the law, respond to legal process, or protect our rights.

  • In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of some or all of our business or assets, in which case personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Some of these disclosures — for example, sharing information with advertising and analytics partners in exchange for services that benefit our marketing — may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under certain state privacy laws (such as California's), even though no money changes hands. See Section 8 for your rights regarding this.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to complete your order, provide any applicable warranty, comply with tax, accounting, and other legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, and we rely on the security measures of our payment processor and hosting/e-commerce platform for payment data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to or stored by us.

8. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

8.1 Marketing Communications

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email or by contacting us at mirror@classicantiquemirror.com. You will still receive transactional messages related to your orders, such as shipping confirmations, even after opting out of marketing.

8.2 U.S. State Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, applicable state privacy laws (for example, in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy statutes) may give you rights to: request access to the personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion of your personal information; request a portable copy of your information; and opt out of the sale/sharing of your personal information or its use for targeted advertising. We do not knowingly sell personal information for monetary consideration. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 12; we may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.

8.3 International Visitors (including the EEA/UK)

Because we ship and install nationally and internationally, some customers contact or order from us from outside the United States. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with its own data protection law, you may have additional rights under that law, such as rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Please note that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where our servers, Shopify's infrastructure, and our business are located, and data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Site or placing an order, you consent to this transfer, storage, and processing.

9. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the relevant age of consent in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

10. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is not yet a common industry standard for how to respond to such signals, the Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our technology, legal requirements, or for other reasons. We will post the revised Policy on this page with an updated Effective Date. Your continued use of the Site after a revised Policy is posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
